(Just a simple Kitsune TF I wanted to write to go along with this commission I got from Inkyfluffydraws! An elongated sigh was exhaled from the young detective as he lightly tossed his pen down on to the small stack of papers strewn about the mahogany desk before him. With a few clacks, the pen started to roll until its momentum was stopped by the empty shot glass that was resting near the right of the crumpled documents. Small blotches of dripped whiskey permeated the papers, and the residual stain of drink in the glass was a clear indicator that tonight had been one of “those nights”. The detective leaned forward in his chair to stand up. As he did, the squeaks from the worn metals and plastics bounced off of his eardrums as they cascaded about the room. His feet laid heavy footfalls along the dark wood flooring, he marched towards the wall directly across from his desk.
